Chapter 12

I woke up in the same place that they had stabbed me and left me for dead. I didn't hold it against them, though I would have done the same thing. I looked down to see that the knife was still in me. I sucked in a breath and yanked it out. I bit down on my tongue to keep from crying out as I had been doing that a lot as of lately. The thing that baffled me was the fact that I was not dead, seeing as silver and wolfbane are really deadly to a werewolf and if you mix the two together, then that spells out instant death for a wolf. I got up and walked over to a stream that happened to be near by. I shifted into my lycan so that my body would handle the harsh cool wild water a little better. I looked down at my reflection that was glimmering back at me and noticed a pale blue half moon in the middle of my big lycan forehead that was not there before, right? I could feel this shock running through my body at my new appearance and I was just more concerned about how that mark had gotten there, and I watched as there were suddenly two other wolves that looked just like me beside me. I noticed that they each had a moon on their foreheads but one had a half moon facing the opposite direction than mine, and the other had a full moon mark on its forehead. I could feel that Vix was in the back of my mind trying to tell me something, so I opened up our link.

' What is going on, Vix?'

'Like the nickname and they are your clones'

'What how?'

'You are a direct bloodline of the Moongoddess, so you have some cool powers'

'So this is only one of them, I take it?'

'Yep. We should go, mate is worried about us'. With that final statement, she closed off the link and I was no longer able to talk to her.

I ran toward the pack house in my wolf as I never shifted back to being a human and my clones were right behind me. I saw that there were some people, I assume were some of the pack warriors that were waiting at the pack house. They noticed me in almost an instant and then my clones seconds after. They all dropped into a defensive posture, one of the warriors snarled and lunged at my clone, who did nothing to fight back or show any aggression, and when the warrior gave my clone the final blow, the clone just vanished. The warrior wolf was shocked, then regained himself rather quickly. The wolf turned toward me and charged. I snarled at the still mildly confused wolf and shifted. The other clone seemed to vanish in thin f*****g air as well. I stood to my full height, which is 6'0. That's rather tall for a female werewolf , but for a Lycan I was unsure. All of the other wolves around the area saw the aura around me and bowed down to me, which I thought was weird, but I nodded once I walked into the front door. The first thing that I heard was a crash and then yelling and it seemed to be coming from upstairs, so I ran up the stairs two at a time.

"Find her and kill anyone that stands your way." I made it to the top of the stairs and stopped for a moment to catch my breath as I had just done a lot of running. Once I caught my breath I took off down the hallway so I could go and comfort my mate. When I got to the door, I heard another loud bang.

"Sir, one of your men stabbed her because they thought that she was the one that did that to you." At that point, I had enough of missing my mate, so I smashed through the door. I ran to the side of my mate and he growled at me. I growled back at him and he smiled, knowing that it was me and not some fake or something. I looked at the door and saw that there was a hole where I had rammed it in.

"Sorry about the door." I said quietly, slightly embarrassed that I had broken the door.

"My love it is not a problem." He chuckled. I looked up at him and he smiled back, then I remembered that I still didn't know his name.

"I-I still don't know your name" I mumbled, stuttering as I suddenly felt nervous for some reason.

"Jakeson dear and what is yours?" he responded.

"Bella Rose is the name." I smiled a cheeky smile. I shifted and Jakeson shifted with me, and we went for a run.
