Episode 1: The collision Shaniel never believed in fate until she collided with Adrian Blackwood. The gala was shimmering with crystal chandeliers and murmurs of Manhattan’s elite. Shaniel had no business being there,yet she carried herself as if she did, clutching her laptop bag and a lukewarm cappuccino. She was late,distracted,and entirely human. That’s when it happened. Shaniel’s heels caught on the edge of the rug, and she collided with him. Coffee toppled,papers scattered across the marble floor. “I am so sorry!” She gasped, bending to gather the mess. He didn’t move. Dark eyes locked on hers,sharp,calculating,unnervingly calm. “You’re reckless,”he said, his voice smooth,low,edged with warning. “I…I didn’t see..”she stammered. “Apologies won’t fix it .But it’s too late now.” Shaniel caught the name on his sleek briefcase:Adrian Blackwood. Whispers around the gala confirmed it. “You spilled wine on more than my suit,”he added stepping closer his gaze locking with hers. “And I kind of like it.” Shaniel instincts screamed run. Shaniel finally straightened, brushing stray papers from her lap. The gala buzzed around her, but her mind wasn’t on chandeliers or the glittering crowd. It was on him that impossible man, sharp and dangerous, standing amid the city she had worked so hard to conquer. She was independent, self-reliant, and skeptical of charm. Yet something about him made her forget her rules, her careful control. He was a storm, and she felt its pull. A waiter passed by, muttering apologies as he collected glasses, but Shaniel barely noticed. Her pulse had nothing to do with spilled coffee it was him. Before she could reply,he turned, slipping into the crowd like a shadow. She didn’t know it yet,but this encounter wasn’t random. Heart still racing. Work had brought her to this gala,not the glittering world of Manhattan’s elite,yet somehow,the chaos of the night made her feel alive. Across the room, Adrian nurse his scotch,eyes scanning the crowd with sharp precision.The woman who spilled coffee on him had spirit_dangerous,unpredictable…and intriguing. A subtle warning buzzed on his phone,but he didn’t look away. Something told him their paths were far from finished. And when their paths crossed again… nothing would ever be the same.
