She sat in the corner of the bar, perusing the people dancing as she looked for the one who would be her release tonight. Some dive bar show had brought a crowd, giving her ample pickings, the noise also meaning she would have the chance to play with her victim tonight before she killed them. She had dearly missed being able to play with them, their screams as the blade slid down their torsos, pleasure to her ears, a pleasure she had only ever been able to compare to s*x. Her gaze stopped quickly on a young man, his eyes already on her, the lust abhorrently obvious in his features and the way he stood. She finished her whiskey before making her way through the crowd, only stopping to grab the man's hand before she dragged him outside around the side of the building, his back up against the wall. He grinned mischievously, a small smirk of her own crossing her features. ‘Men’ she thought. ‘Always so easily fooled, at least a woman would have been smart enough to get suspicious.’ she shook her head quickly, his eagerness for her destroying the high that had come from the possible chase. Her hand came up, a finger trailing lightly down the front of his chest, admiring the chiseled chest tucked poorly away under tight fitting clothing before coming to a stop at his heart. She met his gaze briefly, her smile now gone, replaced by a look of boredom as she plunged her hand through his chest, gripping his still beating heart.
The man's eyes widened in shock, his mouth agape, a low groan escaping his lips as his mind attempted to register what was happening. Her head tilted slightly, a low, humorless chuckle coming from her lips as her hand pressed deeper, gripping his heart tighter, each beat pulsing against her slick fingers. She gazed at him fondly, her voice a bare whisper over the music still going on around them. “My apologies darling…but you see…I just had to let go tonight. I had fully intended on there being at least some form of foreplay beforehand but you were just so trusting…you took the fun right out of it. I much prefer my prey to try and run or at least resist a bit when I come to them. The harder they fight…the more intense the pleasure of the kill. But, alas, it is what it is. I can’t have you running off though, trying to tell on me for this, so unfortunately that means you had to die a bit quicker than I originally planned…” she grinned, perking up a bit as she continued on. “No matter! I will simply just have to find another victim tonight after I finish this off with you, which will be…right…about…now.” She yanks her hand back, his heart flying out with it as he falls limp to the ground. The man's blood pooled in the palms of her hands for a moment before she brought them to her lips, licking the blood out her palms before she sucked gently on each finger, making sure there wasn’t a drop left when she was done. She moaned in pleasure at the mixture of sensations dancing across her tongue at the taste.
She sighed, staring down at the mess it now dawned on her that she had to clean up, her gaze out of focus for a moment before she grabbed his body, dragging it down the hill beside the bar, grateful for the distraction of the show to avoid any potential onlookers. His body tumbled gracelessly down the rest of the hill, a small giggle escaping her lips. He reminded her of a crash dummy the way his body flailed about as he landed at the bottom. She skipped down the hill before laying next to the man's body, staring up at the sky. Her breath came in quiet gasps as she turned to the corpse, her voice a hushed but excited whisper. “You know, if you hadn’t been so willing you could have been alive when you came down this hill…and perhaps you could have looked at the stars with me. But nevertheless I will still show them to you…on one condition…” she got quiet, waiting for the imaginary response from the dead man. “You can look at them only if you don’t tell my husband…he gets a bit jealous you know?” She goes back to looking at the stars. “We’ve been one for centuries, that much time with someone…it gets old. When we first met it was easy to resist those urges, but now? Now I simply can’t stop. The way your blood feels as it's dripping down my fingers…or on my clothing…I could bathe in it if I had enough. And don’t even get me started on the feel of a beating heart…MY GOD THE INTENSITY!! Humanity has no idea what they’re missing out on…it’s incredible.” She stands quickly, spinning around in the grass, kicking her shoes off as she runs, jumping on the man, the quiet squish of the blood around her feet making her moan in ecstasy. “And to be quite honest…the feel of blood on me tends to rile me up a bit if you know what I mean…that…if I had to guess…is why I still keep my husband around. You see… I am just too greedy of a woman to let him go, and the things that man can do with his tongue…or by the Gods with his other…assets? It truly is comparable to the feeling of taking a life. “ She squeals in laughter, jumping up and down, her eyes psychotic in the moonlight, her arms spread wide, basking in the night air. “But nothing is as good as this, it’s as good as it gets, the warmth of the blood, your screams as your life ends at my hands, it’s almost too much.” The ecstasy takes her over the edge and she lays beside the corpse once more, her breath heavy as she stares up at the sky once again, contemplating who she will choose as the next victim tonight, momentarily forgetting the need to dispose of this poor man's body. She watched the sky as her breathing quieted, the vibrations from her pocket knocking her out of her ecstasy induced stupor.
A soft groan escapes her lips as she sees Kierans name pop up on the screen. She hated these damned things, frankly they were a waste of money. Her finger pressed lightly on the screen before putting the phone against her ear, not saying a word as she listened to him rant on and on, her night of fun officially over.
