“Where are you!? You should have been home hours ago, Eleanora. I know you said not to wait up, but I've been worried sick, you weren’t picking up the phone or answering my texts…I thought something may have happened. Why couldn’t I go with you? What were you hiding from me…is there someone else? Please don’t leave…whatever it is i’ll fix it I promise just please don’t let there be someone else okay?” He finally took a breath, giving her a chance to speak on the other end of the line. She stayed silent, and his heart plummeted in his chest as he struggled to think of something to say to keep her with him. He couldn’t lose her, they had spent too long together. A slow breath escaped his lips as he thought for a moment before finally letting himself speak.
“If you leave me I will kill any and every man or woman you try to replace me with Eleanora. You are mine and I do not share what is mine. I will watch the world burn to the ground before that happens, do you understand me…” A soft gasp is heard from the other end of the line before she hangs up, not a word having come from her the entire call, although if he was being completely honest with himself he hadn’t exactly given her a chance to talk. He always did that whenever he spoke to her and could feel her upset, he wasn’t sure why since he was fairly certain that the rambling annoyed her almost as much as whatever he had done in those situations. He sighed heavily, sitting on the floor against the wall, his shoulders slumped. He didn’t used to be like this…his mind went back to the days she still looked at him as her knight, when she couldn’t bear the thought of him not being by her side at all times. When she still looked at him with love instead of the disgust that he saw in her eyes now. The only time that look ever changed was when they were in bed, and even then it only lasted long enough for the act itself, her gaze growing cold the moment she finished. When had he become such a coward…back then he used to kill for her without a second thought, no guilt, no remorse…he would kill for her and then they’d bathe in the blood of each victim as he ravaged her.
His gaze jerked up as the door swung open, her silhouette filling the doorway, still as regal as the day he had met her. She walked in slowly, closing the door behind her as she walked past him, heading straight for the shower without a second glance in his direction. He lifted his head a bit higher as she walked past, the scent of blood in the air, the iron filling his nostrils, overwhelming him at the intensity. Mouth slightly agape, he moved to speak, stopping as she slammed the door to the bathroom, cutting off any chance of conversation. Laying back against the wall, he thought of what could have happened for her to reek of so much blood. There were no wounds on her body so whatever blood it was, it either wasn’t hers or was coming from a wound he couldn’t see…
Resigned, he stood lazily, going to the bathroom door and opening it slowly, her figure visible in the shower behind the glass door. His breath caught at the sight of her, all trains of thought quickly leaving his head for a moment as he shook his head, trying to remember what he had come in here for. Just as quickly as it had left, his reasoning for coming in came right back as he leaned against the doorway, clearing his throat before speaking. “Did something happen tonight Eleanora? I could smell the blood as you walked past me…was there a fight? Did someone get hurt? Are you hurt? I knew I should have gone with you…” He stopped as he heard her groan loudly from the shower, her voice cold and distant as she spoke.
“I was doing quite well until you called me Kieran. In fact, I was having fun. I would have preferred to be doing that until you decided to go all big and bad.” The water cut off as she opened the glass door, droplets sliding down her breasts and torso as she reached for the towel. He could hear the venom in each word she spoke, knowing the proper reaction would have been fear, except for the fact he couldn’t tear his eyes away from the water droplets. He stood mesmerized, feeling the tension in the air increase, her eyes still cold as she gazed at him, her figure tense as she stormed past him, leaving him standing there. He wasn’t sure what was going on with them anymore, but the constant walking off, leaving him behind, was really starting to piss him off. He had simply been worried about her, and this was the response he got. Following after her, he gripped her arm roughly, pressing her against door to their bedroom.
“Where were you Nell…I stayed home patiently like you asked but something seemed off.” He leaned down, his nose pressed against her neck, inhaling her scent, picking up the smell of another man. “Were you with someone else? Are you cheating on me? After centuries together are you abandoning me now?” She rolled her eyes at all the questions, trying to pull her arm from his grasp. The move only went to anger him further as he pressed tighter against her, the towel slipping from her waist as they stood. She glanced up at him, a gasp escaping her lips as her eyes were flooded with arousal. He responded eagerly, leaning down to kiss her hungrily, his lips flush against her skin as he moved quickly down her neck and shoulder. His hands traveled down her torso, gripping her hips and lifting her, groaning as she wrapped her legs tightly around his waist. Carrying her into their room, he pressed her down into the mattress before leaning back, fumbling at his jeans to free his already stiff erection. It had been so long since they had been together like this, so long since she had looked at him with such desire. Freeing his shaft, he stroked himself slowly, watching her as she spread her legs, eagerly waiting for his entrance. She squealed, giggling as he yanked her forward, her giggles quickly becoming moans as he thrust roughly into her, pressing down against her, his tongue moving languidly against her now hardening n****e.
“You are mine Eleanora, mine and mine alone. I will not share you. Try to bed another man again and I will remind you of the man I was before you wed me.” He had no idea where the anger had come from, knowing only that it was present. He continued, each thrust getting more and more aggressive, her moans and whimpers mingling with his own groans. This was what it should have been like over the years, ravaging each other, one marking the other. We had been this infatuated once, we had loved like this once. These days it seemed she only wanted him when he was angry, something that rarely happened anymore. He shook his head trying to clear the thoughts that had begun creeping in, Eleanora, sensing the change in mood, clutched my shoulders, drawing my attention back down to her slowly.
“Focus on this Kieran…I did what I had to tonight, nothing more. I just needed a release and I got it. There was no sex.” She pressed up against me, her hands wrapping in his hair as her tongue trailed up his neck and to his lips, biting gently at his bottom lip. He brought his thoughts back to what was happening at the moment, the act continuing on for another few hours before they both collapsed, breathless, falling quickly into sleep.
