Mitchell's Part "Blood? Whose blood? Lily's blood, to me?" Mitchell asked inwardly, trying to make sense of what she just heard. "She is born of a Vampire and a werewolf blood, Dav, what do you expect?" Mitchell heard her dad say too, making her jaw drop too, wondering who is the vampire and who is the werewolf. "I know that your daughter was born with a mixed blood, Jeffrey, but I am still skeptical about this, I do not think that Mitchell is ripe for this, you said it yourselves, she hasn't shown any signs yet so…" Dav was saying when Mrs Judy cut in and interrupted him. "I know what we have said, Dav, that's the essence of the ritual, it's going to awaken the powers in her, that way she would come to know who she is and start being a part of our circle, I cannot wait any longer for my daughter to understand who she is," Mitchell's mum, Mrs Judy said, turning from Dav to her husband Mr Jeffrey, who blinked at her, feeling the same way as she. "I understand what you are saying Judy, but I am also concerned about your daughter's safety, did you read the consequences involved if the ritual didn't turn out to be successful…? Dav was saying again when Mrs Judy cut in again, sounding a little angry. "I know what the consequences are, Dav, I have taken my time to read it thoroughly, she is my daughter and I want what's best for her, don't you think she is more prone to danger without her powers and the knowledge of her identity?" Mrs Judy asked, her brows furrowed at Dav, her inner self swelling with sudden anger as she thinks that Dav wanted to talk them out of their decision, especially her husband Mr Jeffrey. "Calm down, Judy, you do not need to allow yourself to get angry, it's our daughter's birthday today and we will do what we must to ensure her safety." Mr Jeffrey said, gazing at his wife, gesturing for her to get a hold of her emotions seeing how it was beginning to take effect on her appearance. Mr Jeffrey stood up from the chair where he was seated on and walked towards his wife whose face was beginning to turn a little pale and dark, her eyes starting to turn from blue to red, knowing she was beginning to turn into her hideous form. He slowly put his right palm across her neck, slowly squeezing it to try and calm her down, only Mr Jeffrey has this effect to calm her down. Slowly Mrs Judy started returning into her normal self, tilting her head backwards and sideways to try and gain control of her human side to look beautiful again. "Do not pay attention to this, Dav," Mr Jeffrey said, turning his gaze on Dav who took a few steps away from Mrs Judy, feeling a little afraid as she began to turn to into her hideous form. "Are you alright now?" Mr Jeffrey asked his wife, slowly loosening his grip on her neck. Mrs Judy shook her head slightly in acknowledgement to her husband's question. She pulled her neck away from his hand and cracked it a little, after completely turning back to her human form. "How are we going to go about it then, I mean how are we going to make Mitchell take her friend's blood?" Dav asked calmly, peering at Mrs Judy he does not want her getting angry with him, he knew that he is no match for the kind of power she possessed. He had been among those who were skeptical about their leader, Mr Jeffrey getting married to her wondering how they came to be in love with each other. "That's the question you should have asked, Dav," Mrs Judy said, flipping her hair backwards and rolling her eyes at him. "You should leave that to us, Dav, what you need to do is find a way to get her friend away from the party after she has been introduced, leave the rest for us to handle," Mrs Judy said. Mitchell suddenly stood up from where she was seated on the stairs, feeling that she has heard enough. "I need to get lilly out of here as quickly as I can," Mitchell said inwardly and moved her leg to climb down the stairs but missed a step causing her to make a noise. Mitchell froze almost immediately, scared that she had alerted her parents and their guest. "Did you hear that?" Mr Jeffrey asked immediately after the sound, making the others with him to pause and listen. "Hold on," Mr Jeffrey said almost immediately, turning his gaze away from his companions and went to check it out to make sure they are safe since the only one who knew about their plan to use Mitchell's friend's blood to awaken her abilities was his friend Dav. Mitchell saw that it was obvious that her parents heard the sound as she heard footstep walking towards the door, she quickly clicked her finger against her lips, trying to come up with a reasonable act to put on. She quickly turned towards the stairs again as a reasonable idea pop up, trying to calm her nerves. "There you are Dad," Mitchell said immediately the door clicked open, wearing a rather weary smile and peering into her Dad's face hoping she was acting natural in order not to arouse suspicion. "Mitchell?" Mr Jeffrey called out, making Mrs Judy who was about to follow behind her husband stop herself after hearing her daughter's name. Mr Jeffrey slowly closed the door behind him, and turned to peer at Mitchell who climbed up the stairs towards him, wondering if she heard anything but from his assessment, he felt she didn't hear a word, knowing that Mitchell must have reacted if she did and he probably would have perceived her scent as he did now that she was standing in front of her. "What are you doing here?" He asked, his gaze still on her. "I came to find you Dad," Mitchell replied almost immediately, making a face, trying to look cute and act like she always did. "Where is mum?" She added, forcing herself to sound like her usual self. "Your mum is getting ready for your party," Mr Jeffrey replied, relieved that she did not hear them talk. "Is that all darling?" He asked, wondering why she had come to find them. "My friend has arrived, Dad, I came to find you to tell you that," Mitchell told her Dad, forcing a smile too, "I can't wait for my party to start," she added, still trying to sound natural. "Alright, princess, I will go find your mum," Mr Jeffrey told her, forcing himself too to sound like his usual self as he was a little nervous about their plan. "Alright, Dad, I will get going," Mitchell said and turned away from her dad, facing the stairs again. "Mitchell…" Mr Jeffrey called immediately she turned away from him, making Mitchell's her heart almost jump out of her body. "What is it Dad?" She asked, turning around to face her dad again, wondering what this was about, her heart drumming in her chest. "You look beautiful as always, princess," Mr Jeffrey said, smiling at her. "Thanks Dad," Mitchell said in return, flashing him a smile, "I need to get back to my friend Dad, she is all alone," she added and turned away from her Dad again and started climbing down the stairs, eager to get away from them. "It's safe, you do not have to worry about it,' Mr Jeffrey told his wife Mrs Judy, who blew out a sigh of relief, thankful that her plan was still intact. Mitchell rushed back into her room startling Lily who was still admiring the things in her room. "We need to go, Lily," Mitchell said immediately, glancing around her room, at a loss whether to pack up a few things or not given the limited time she has. "Has the party started already?" Lily asked, peering happily at Mitchell, feeling a little anxious as she hasn't attended a party like hers before. "We are not attending the party, Lily," Mitchell blotted out, terrified and at a loss of what to do. Lily blinked, her lips slightly parted wondering whether she heard Mitchell correctly or not but just before she could regain her voice, Mitchell grabbed her hand and turned towards her door, eager to leave her house before anyone find them, still terrified by all that she had heard but just before they reached the door, someone knocked on the door. Mitchell froze immediately, her heart in her throat, while Lily almost stumbled into her because of her abrupt stop feeling rather baffled at her friend's reaction.
