"I should not have come to school today," she said inwardly, wishing now more than anything that she had listened to her parents and stayed back home to wait for Zack the priest who was supposed to help her because now everyone in school including Josh had seen her and what she looked like "a monster" she thought, just as the students had referred to her.
Josh peered steadily at Molly looking speechless. He could see how frustrated she was but still she was refusing to say anything to him, "there is nothing I can do here," he said inwardly pressing his lips together feeling frustrated as well.
"Please Molly can you just say something," Josh muttered enough for Molly to hear him, his gaze still on her.
