The Date is Discovered
In order to not stand out, Zoey wore all black.
As she walked, she said to Madeleine, "Do I look like a blind bear now?"
Madeleine laughed and said, "Where did this adorable blind bear come from?"
Zoey curved her lips, and Madeleine lifted the scarf up to cover most of Zoey's face.
The two of them went out through the back door and saw a black Volkswagen parked at the entrance.
The driver's cabin door opened, and Roland ran to the back door of the car. "Zoey, get in."
Zoey nodded and sat inside with Madeleine.
Roland looked around cautiously and then got into the car and drove away.
During this period, Roland was assigned to the research institute, where he would stare at the experimental data every day and inform Zoey of any developments immediately.
