His stare slowly went down, and stopped on my lips.
"Bryce, get away from me."
He put his right hand's forefinger to my lips, for me to stop speaking. He removed his forefinger from my lips and softly held my chin.
I was stuck. His face is slowly getting closer to mine, a single inch away now.
His eyes were full of desire while staring at my lips.
He was about to kiss me when I pushed him away.
"Impudent!" I shouted.
Bryce looked angry as he walked towards me. He suddenly carried me in his arms.
"Put me down!" There's a threat in my tone of voice. However, Bryce didn't mind what I was ordering him to do.
He kicked the door of my room and carried me inside.
"Put me down." I struggled, trying to hit him in his face and shoulder. I pushed his chest, but he was too strong.
He kicked back the door for it to close, and he carried me to my bed.
He put me down on my back and pushed me to lie down. I slapped him, but he didn't mind it. He is too strong. His Minnie was with him while my Minnie wasn't here.
"You can't do this to me." I tried to kick him. I punched him until he held my two hands and placed them on my top.
I was about to shout for help when I remembered that it would be a big disgrace for me and the whole royal family.
I cried, "Get away from me."
I really can't fight against his force. He was drunk. His Minnie was, for sure, out of his mind too.
He started kissing my neck. "How dare you!" I tried to fight back, but my hands were being held by Bryce.
"Minnie, help me." Tears flow from my eyes.
I haven't thought about this lately. I can call on Minnie at any time, no matter how far she is away. Maybe it's because I wasn't used to asking for anyone's help, not even from my Minnie. I often do things by myself rather than relying on others.
A small light, as small as a marble, got inside my left chest. Then, the door suddenly opened. It's the five royal guards.
I immediately pushed Bryce away from me. I kicked him out of anger, and he flopped on the floor.
"Impudent!" Condor, the leader of my royal guards, shouted. They immediately took Bryce from the floor. They held both of his shoulders.
"Let me go!" Bryce shouted. "You stupid guards, I'm not yet finished with my beloved princess."
He is so naive, he is very drunk. But this is not an excuse for what he did. I never expected that my best friend could do this to me. Without having thoughts of doing this disgraceful act, he won't be able to do this even if he is drunk.
I am so angry that I want to crush his face and kill him right now. I simply closed my fist as tightly as I could and clenched my teeth together. My eyes were red-hot with rage.
"Captain, you are drunk. We will send you home, but this is not yet finished." Condor gives a sign to his companions, telling them to put Bryce away.
"Let me go!" Bryce shouted.
"Cover his mouth and send him home, " I ordered while glaring at Bryce.
The 3 royal guards immediately covered Bryce's mouth with a kerchief and took him out of my room.
Now, only Condor and one other royal guard were left here with me.
"Your majesty, we will make sure that no gossip comes out. However, Bryce must marry you for what he did tonight. Condor's face was very serious.
"Impudent!" I shouted, which made the two guards kneel down in fear.
"My apology, your highness." He dropped his head on the floor.
"Meme, try to calm down. We must find a way to solve this mess," my Minnie finally spoke.
"If only you hadn't left me here," I replied. "We will talk about it later." I take a long breath.
"I won't marry such a rude man. Make sure that this mess won't get out from here. If my father knows about this, you're all dead." I started walking here and there.
"We will make sure to command all the servants and guards here not to tell anyone about whatever they saw or heard tonight," the other guard said.
On the other hand, Condor's head was still on the floor.
"Rise," I said, and he did so while still kneeling.
"Forgive me, your highness. I wasn't able to protect you well. I am a useless guard." The Condor dropped his head on the floor again.
I think how he dropped this time had a force, I'm sure his head was aching now. He rose again, "Please forgive me," and dropped his head again.
"Enough! It's not your fault. " My anger suddenly turned to mercy. "Arise, Condor. It is my fault. I drank with a man and let my Minnie leave me." I sighed.
"It's my fault, your highness. The King trusted me to take care of you, but this is what happened." Condor raised his head and was about to drop it down again.
"I said, enough!" I shouted at him. His head was already bleeding because of what he had done. "You hurting yourself won't help me either. It is my irresponsibility and Bryce's fault. You must stay away from the main conflict and simply carry out my orders. I'm no little child anymore, Condor. I'm a GENERAL!" I really emphasize the word 'general' to awaken him.
"Your order will be followed, your highness," Condor replied.
"Condor, I know you are more loyal to my father, the king, than I am. But please, don't report this to him. I know why you are apologizing to me now. It's not just because of your irresponsibility for letting this happen, but much more because you will be betraying me too. Please, don't let this gossip come out. Please, don't tell my father." My tears wanted to come out, but I tried hard to stop it.
It's been too long since I last cried. It was when Father didn't allow me to be a warrior when I was just a little kid. Then, it was Bryce who made me cry lately.
Those tears flowed from my eyes out of fear and disappointment. That feeling when those I love and trust are the ones who hurt me too.
For a moment, Condor didn't speak, which made me shake my head. I walked towards my bed and dropped my butt to sit down.
I'm not the kind of person who insists on someone doing what I want, despite my being your superior and my right to order you." I stared at the wall angrily. "Get out and do what you think is right."
"I promised no-..." Condor was about to say something when I cut him off.
"Out!" I shouted, glaring at the wall of my room. "Out!" I shouted again while pointing my right hand's forefinger at the door.
Condor and his companion immediately stood up and hastily walked out of my room.
I let my body drop onto my soft bed.
"Forgive me, Meme," my Minnie said.
"It's alright. It's all my fault! If only I go with you and Tricio, this thing wouldn't have happened." I put my left arm on my forehead and looked at the ceiling.
"I will never leave you again." I can feel the warmth inside me. It feels like I'm not alone no matter what happens, and it is all because of my Minnie.
"You promised? You won't disagree and keep on insisting on me if you like something?" I asked.
Although I know that what she said, she mean it.
Yes, I can control her. She can't get out of me if I don't let her. However, when she woke up on my 16th birthday, I promised to give her freedom. To consider everything she wanted, as long as it was not bad.
