"Hell and damnation, it's been a week already," Blake complained, his voice going one iota higher with each passing word, "I missed you sleeping in my arms." He confessed in a much lower tone. "I know," Maria told him softly, "I miss you too..." "Good. And Harry's fine," he chimed in, "why don't you come back?" "I'm fixing the bridges between my father and me," she explained on a sigh. She heard him rather than saw him huff through the phone before letting out a small "Fine." Maria answered him with a bright "You're so sweet!" and someone could almost sense the smile brightening her face, and apparently he did because he soon interjected, "Do that in one week –one more week, that's all I can stand." "Yes sir," she answered him jokingly and was soon rewarded by a deep manly chuckle.
