EPISODE 13
The next morning, Max picked me up at 9am, just as he had promised. We drove to the beach, where we boarded a boat that would take us to a secluded snorkeling spot.
As we sailed across the calm waters of the Pacific, Max told me about the sea turtles we would see. "They're gentle creatures," he said. "They'll swim right up to you."
I nodded, excited. I had always loved snorkeling, and the thought of seeing sea turtles up close was thrilling.
When we arrived at the snorkeling spot, Max helped me into my snorkeling gear. We slipped into the water, and I was immediately struck by the beauty of the underwater world.
The water was crystal clear, and I could see fish swimming all around me. Max took my hand, and we swam together, exploring the reef.
As we swam, I saw a sea turtle swimming towards us. It was huge, with a shell that looked like it had been around for centuries.
Max smiled at me, and we both watched in awe as the turtle swam right up to us. It looked at us curiously, and then it swam away, leaving us to explore the rest of the reef.
As we snorkeled, I felt a sense of freedom and joy that I had never felt before. The water was cool and refreshing, and the sun was shining down on us.
After we finished snorkeling, Max and I sailed back to the beach, where we had a picnic lunch waiting for us. We sat on the beach, eating and talking, and I felt like I was in paradise.
As we finished our lunch, Max turned to me and said, "I have one more surprise for you today."
I raised an eyebrow, curious. "What is it?" I asked.
Max grinned. "We're going to watch the sunset from the top of a mountain."
I nodded, excited. "That sounds amazing," I said.
Max smiled, and we set off towards the mountain. As we drove, the sun began to set, casting a golden glow over the landscape.
We reached the top of the mountain just as the sun was dipping below the horizon. The view was breathtaking, with the ocean stretching out before us.
Max took my hand, and we watched the sunset together, feeling grateful for this holiday romance that had brought us together.
As the sun disappeared below the horizon, Max turned to me and said, "I'm so glad we met, Emily."
I smiled, feeling my heart full of love. "Me too, Max," I said. "Me too."
