As we stood there, looking into each other's eyes, I couldn't help but feel a sense of wonder and excitement. The air was filled with the sweet scent of blooming flowers, and the sound of the waves crashing against the shore was soothing and calming.

Max smiled, and then he took my hand in his. "I'm so glad we're here, Emily," he said. "I feel like I've known you forever."
