Belle lay on her bed in her room, bored and wondering what to do. She had planned on going out on the land to pick some berries, but got tired, and worried there would be people out who would stare at her. She stressed at the thought of being around people, she was not much of a social butterfly, or even a shy social person like there are in her small town. It took a lot of energy for her to go outside, even just for a short while.
Belle had decided to stay inside, maybe read a book, and have some hot tea. Maybe she would go out to pick berries some other day when she felt up to it. For now she just wanted to relax. She walked out of her room, down the hallway, over to the kitchen, pouring some cold water into the tea kettle to heat some water for tea. She set it onto the burner and walked over to the couch and sat down to wait for the water to heat.
As Belle waited for the water to heat, she heard her mother coming up the steps into their house. Belle walked over to the front door and happily greeted her mother, Lannie, "Hi Mum!" She exclaimed. Her mother had just returned from a day trip into the nearby town to run some errands over there. Lannie seemed happy to be home and getting her trip over and done with.
"How was your trip," Belle asked.
"It was quite alright, I got to go to the grocery store before I came home when I was done with my appointment." Lannie replied.
Belle got excited wondering what she got from the grocery store, and looked inside the grocery bags, finding fresh fruit, bananas to be exact, and peeled one open.
"Yum!" Exclaimed Belle. She always got excited for fresh fruits, because their little town's grocery store barely got much fresh foods for sale, due to it's long distance from farms.
That day Belle had decided to do one of her hobbies, which was crocheting. At the moment she was working on making a blanket made out of granny square hearts. She plopped down on her bed, drinking some tea and crocheting at the same time, enjoying the moment. She made 1 square, then 2, then 3. When she finished the 3rd one, it had been about an hour and she decided to take a break from crocheting. She walked out to the living room to find her mother eating some spaghetti dinner, her younger sister eating some also. She got herself a plate and dished herself some spaghetti. It was so delicious.
After dinner, Belle watched a movie for a few hours, and fell asleep. The day was over and done with.
