Just as predicted, by the time they got to the car, every other person was already seated, awaiting their arrival. With light chuckles, they apologized and quickly got in, their drive to Phoebe’s school immediately beginning.
Being a stone throw away, they were able to get to her school in less than twenty minutes. They all headed to the hall the ceremony was being headed, bid Phoebe their temporary goodbyes and took their respective seats in the crowd.
