“You sounded half dead on the phone earlier. In all honesty, I was scared you’ll be dead by the time I got here.” Wilson groaned out in relief as his best friend barged into his office with a ridiculous smile on his face. He wasn’t bothered by his presence though. If anything, he was extremely grateful as he was the one who actually summoned him with the hope of him showing up as soon as possible. “Crikey, what the hell happened to you?” “Is it that obvious?” he let out a bitter chuckle, getting on his feet to join Nick on the sofa. With another groan, he loosened his tie and plopped into the seat opposite him. “Guess.” “You lost a huge deal worth millions?” “I wish.” “You had a fight with your mum? Your dad? Ran into your brother in the corridors?” “Are you kidding me right now?”
