“Oh my God, you both are so cute!” Her sister’s voice managed to pull her out of her trance, having her quickly look away to focus on her meal. She swallowed, suddenly feeling self conscious. “That was quite one way to meet up,” her dad said to them, his tone seeming happy. “You talked about meetings. I guess you’re into business?” “Yes, I am,” he nodded. “Business. Lots of it.” “That’s nice,” he smiled then resumed eating. “That’s enough talking. We should all just have dinner.” The rest of the dinner went well with the whole family making occasional comments and laughing lightly in between.
