"Good morning, ma'am."
"It's just Charlotte," Charlotte corrected the security man at the entrance to the office all over again. "You really do not need to address me so formally. Just call me Charlotte."
"I'm sorry, it's just not that easy," he replied her with a pitiful look on his face. "I've gotten used to seeing you as Mr. Locke's girlfriend so my mind isn't used to seeing you as a regular employee yet."
"It's alright," she said in a final tone. "Just try to get used to it."
With a sigh, she walked into the main building and immediately sent her gaze to the floor. It was her second day at work and after spending her first day not exactly the way she wanted to, she was keen on trying to start her second day on a much more brighter note.
