ISLA The glass fell out of my hands. It crashed to the floor, cracking into several pieces as a hiss left my lips and I said, “ I'm sorry.” I tried to bend down to pick the shards but I clumsily stepped on it, it pierced my foot. “ Ugh!” I let out a grunt. “ Fuck.” I muttered under my breath. My eyes weren't clear, vision was blurry and my head was pounding. It felt like the world was spinning but I wasn't giving up, I went on my knees as I tried to use my fingers to pick them up. “ Argh!” I exclaimed from pain. She looked like she got enough of me hurting myself as she got up, holding me by the shoulder as she said, “ Stop it! You are just hurting yourself.” She pulled me away from there, leading me carefully to the bed as I fell to the bed like a bag of potatoes. “ Good.
