“Where? Where am I?” I stuttered.
I asked in confusion, my eyes twitched to adjust to the dazzling light as my lips thinned in worry. I called out softly, “ Rose?”
There was no reply, my voice just bounced off the wall and smacked me back in the face. I didn't give up, trying to move as my legs were bound and I was kept at an elevated height. “f**k!” I cursed worried, I was placed like a cow about to be burnt.
