She rushed into the room, screaming my name as the door fell and shattered into pieces. She held a hammer in her hand as she stood there breathing heavily,
“ Linda!”
My eyes were filled with panic, I looked into hers as I noticed a bit of jealousy. She was jealous of my position with Lisa as I left her and I stood by the side and called out softly, “ Mom.” Lisa laid on the ground, she looked confused as she said, “ What the hell is happening?” But we didn't look at her, we were focused on ourselves as I motioned that she stays calm, I whispered softly, “ It's not what you think.” Her eyes flared from my words, asking slowly but filled with anger and envy, “ What is it then?” I looked the other way, my lips thin as I said, “ Um- um.”
