I stare at her small body which has wrapped herself in the blanket like a cocoon that needed the warmth.
She has those lips parted as she takes a deep breath.
I notice the way her body rises and falls, slowly.
I settle down next to her carefully, not wanting to wake her up this soon.
A part of me feels so fresh around her.
Like you have found your voice for the first time in your whole life.
That you are letting a part of you go which has always been troubled, broken, beaten up, and you feel all of that go, freeing yourself by speaking about it.
A part which was kept caged inside me.
One night can definitely change so much.
