The song played in my head, no matter how much I had laughed before pretending to be okay, but the music had just dragged me back to his memories and I couldn't breathe.
I felt the pain in my heart, it felt like a tough pill to swallow….
My fingers fumbled on my phone, typing his number and erasing it right back.
I had expressed my feelings in the letter, and he had not replied anything for that…
Now I wasn't sure what will be his reaction if I do call him.
Like, is he expecting a call from my side?
I'm not convinced.…
Will he be happy to hear my voice?
Or what if he wants to move on.
He left everything here and found his way back to the army…
He clearly wanted to move on…last time when we had each other…
Not only that, but he said it shall pass.
