CHAPTER 9 Tana felt a chill rush down her back. Her spine turned to ice. She stared, transfixed, at the word scrawled on the mirror. Hurry “Hurry where?” she said out loud. “Where am I supposed to go? Why do I have to find you? Why me?” Just then Sheila entered the ladies’ room. She saw Tana and smiled. “Hey, girlfriend, you down for our double date tonight?” Tana ignored Sheila, as if she hadn’t heard her or was unaware of her presence. As if all that mattered was the message on the mirror. “I don’t know where to find you,” Tana continued. “I don’t know where to look for you, I don’t know anything, okay?” Her eyes filled with tears.
