CHAPTER 46 Tana’s cellphone beeped, alerting to a text as they rolled across the Bay Bridge and the San Francisco skyline came into view. She glanced at the screen, saw it was Mimi, and ignored it. “I hope it wasn’t too weird last night,” she said. Powell glanced at her. “Which part?” “You know, us sleeping together.” “I’ve done it before, you know,” Powell said.
