Lily POV The walk to my room was quiet. Well, I guess it was supposed to be. My room was right down the hall. I was saying that in my head, making it seem like a maze filled with all types of booby traps and whatnot. Alec and I walked into my room, and I made a straight line towards my bathroom. I kept the door opened a little bit. There was no need to be scared when Alec was just a few feet away. At stressful times like this, I would take a long hot bath. But I wouldn't make Alec wait for me. That wouldn't be fair. I jumped in the shower quickly and hurried to do what I needed. I'm sure Alec is tired and would also like to shower and go to bed. I'm hoping I don't have to go with the woman's so-called husband to his restaurant. Did he have one?
