We had to go back to work today.
It's been a while since we've done so.
I guess it hasn't been.
The four of us usually don't get called into work unless it's serious business or when the police want to do some underground business.
Today, however, was a shocker to us all.
Today was the day that our so-called 'mother' was going to be released.
That was all the information we had.
I should have known better than to leave Lily alone by herself.
"What do you mean she's been released!?" I gritted out.
I was beyond pissed off right now.
We were told that they would keep my mother in holding for a long time.
This wasn't a long time.
I wanted to punch something. I wanted to scream.
