I snorted. “Of course, he is, and I still want to look for him.” I slipped over to Duncan and looped an arm around one of his limbs. “And Duncan and I can do that. You just watch over your Point, and we’ll find him in no time.”
Eva pursed her lips and her eyes rolled over to Duncan where they studied him with a sharp look. “Do you truly desire to do this for me?”
Duncan nodded. “We’ll find him.”
Eva’s gaze lingered on him a moment longer before she returned her attention to me. “Then I will give you until the dawn to find him. After that, I will draw you back and I will go after him myself.”
