The Lady Rebels played a tight game, defeating the Daytona Flyers in overtime by a mere three points. Mack thought she should text to Heather and started composing one as the ball sailed effortlessly through the air, aiming for the basket, but she only managed two words—We won!!!—and didn’t even get to hit send before it sank the shot and finished the game. Then the girls on the bench surged to their feet, a few of them tackling her, and Mack tucked her phone away in her pocket moments before a bucket of ice was dumped onto her head in celebration.
