Chapter Four

***Melany's POV*** We were a few miles away from Jules's house, but I still felt scared, as if that bastard was still coming for me. Why didn't I see through his facade? Ofcourse, he hid his true nature so well behind sweet talk and gifts, all under his good boy appearance. I'm grateful that I always turned down his gifts; otherwise, that would have given him a reason to want something from me. But I honestly didn't see this coming. I hate him for trying to rape me. My mind replayed the scenario over and over, imagining what that brute would have done if Annie hadn't arrived in time. "Baby girl, I'm so sorry that he did that to you," Ann said, breaking into my thoughts. "It's not your fault; it's mine. I should have seen it coming, but no, I was too busy trying to be nice to everyone," I lamented. "I'm a such a fool." "Don't talk like that, Mel. That jerk is the fool, not you. He couldn't recognize the kind and loving person he tried to ruin," she tried to comfort me. "Anyway, thank you. I don't know what would have happened if you hadn't shown up," I admitted gratefully as she enveloped me in a hug. Sometimes I wondered how I got so lucky to have a friend like Annie. "Anything for you Mel," She said, hugging me tighter. "All I want to do right now is get home, strip off this unlucky dress, and wash away all the bad memories in the shower," I thought to myself. "No way! You're not going home like that, especially since your parents aren't there," Annie exclaimed. Oh no, did I say that out loud? "B-bu-but," I stuttered, but Annie cut me off. "No buts. You clearly didn't enjoy yourself at the party, and you're not going home feeling down. Mister, please stop right here," she instructed the driver. We stepped out of the cab and walked a short distance ahead, stopping in front of this new nightclub where a line of people were waiting to get inside. Annie didn't bother joining the queue; instead, she walked up to the bouncer and whispered something to him, allowing us to go through. "Ann, what did you tell that guy?" I asked curiously. "Oh, nothing much. He used to work at a nightclub near my house. He's a good friend," she explained casually. "Mmmmm, good friend, okay," I responded, raising an eyebrow playfully. "Hey, what are you thinking?" she asked, catching on to my tone, noticing my expression. "Oh, nothing, just thinking about the 'good friend' part," I replied with a chuckle, and we both burst into laughter, understand what I meant. Annie can be a bad girl sometimes, just sometimes. My spirits began to lift, only to plummet back to their original state when a slightly intoxicated man asked Annie to dance. The scene instantly brought memories of Cole flooding back, causing fear to grip me despite the bustling atmosphere around us. I found a olace to sit a nearby seat while Ann and the stranger swayed to the rhythm of Ed Sheeran's "Shape of You." I felt shamelessly comfortable as I sensed someone's eyes on me. Turning to find out who, I was completely taken aback by what I saw, or rather, who my eyes fell upon. Sitting a few tables away was the handsome stranger I had seen earlier at Jules' house, the one who had been occupied my thoughts. "OMG! What is he doing here?" I wondered aloud. "The same thing you are doing here," my mind pointed out, almost teasingly. His gaze were still fixed on me, igniting a sudden rush of desire that left me feeling aroused and wet between my thighs. He was unkowingly or maybe knowingly stirring certain emotions within me that I didn't know existed. I tore my gaze away from him in an attempt to regain my composure, but I found myself drawn back to him irresistibly. He had this 'I konw what I am doing' smirk on his face which I found very sexy. Feeling increasingly wet, I excused myself to the restroom, needing to wipe myself to avoid staining my dress. Leaning against the sink, lost in my thoughts, I suddenly felt strong arms wrap around my waist, enveloping me in a comforting embrace and I felt strangely comfortable. It felt remarkably different from Cole's touch. I found myself leaning into this stranger's embrace as he hugged me from behind, feeling the unmistakable hardness of his arousal against my ass, sending a rush of heat through me. He started placing tender kisses along my neck, causing me to bite my lower lip to stifle a moan. Turning around to face him, I was met with his lips on mine. His kiss was unlike anything I had ever experienced, sweet and intoxicating. In that moment, he unknowingly stole my first kiss. As his lips left mine, he trailed kisses along the top of my breasts, eliciting an uncontrollable moan from deep within me. His actions were driving me crazy with desire. His hands left my waist, one moving down to caress my thighs while the other pulled up my dress. As I moaned, his lips found mine once more, joining our moans in a symphony of lust. I finally managed to make out the color of his eyes. They appeared to be blue, but in the heat of the moment, they seemed to deepen into a darker shade due to the lust in them. They seemed to convey so much about him, drawing me even closer. "Do you want to go home with me?" he asked suddenly, breaking the silence as we heard a knock on the door, indicating that he had locked it behind him when he entered. It felt as though I had lost my voice, so I simply nodded in response. I knew it was wrong, but I couldn't control the overwhelming desire coursing through me. He opened the door and led the way, with me following closely behind. The woman outside gave us a knowing smile, making me embarrased, yet that was not enough to jolt me back to my senses that I was leaving with a stranger whose name I don't even know. He practically dragged me through the back door and into his car, as if afraid I might change my mind. Halfway through the drive, I sank into the comfort of the car seat, wondering how I hadn't noticed how confortable it is earlier. Then it dawned on me; I had been too busy staring at him, amazed by his effortless driving with one hand while caressing my thighs with the other. A heavy sigh escaped my lips as I remembered that I had left Annie behind. He didn't even allow me to let her know I was leaving. "What is wrong with you, Mel. Wake up." I mentally slapped myself, hoping that would do the trick.
