Chapter 5

Lucians POV

After bumping into that girl my wolf went into a slumber.

MATE!MATE! That girl is our mate go and get her

She smells of lavender and cherry its divine

We will get her do not worry blake

Blake wagged his tail and pranced to the back of my thoughts. Who was this girl? Ive never seen her here before. Mind you i am away quite a bit so i wouldnt even know whose new here or what. My thoughts came back to the situation at hand. Looking for that little s**t of a brother of mine. He keeps spending into the packs finances. Its not small amounts either atleast 100k every few months. I work hard for this pack not for him to splash money where he sees fit. He may be next alpha in line but he should have me to thank for that since i didnt want the position.

I ask a few students if they hace seen him and they all point to the cafeteria. Maybe i can see that girl again and turn my feet and walk to the cafeteria. It still the same as when i was here. Certain tables for certain groups of kids. I see that girl sitting at a table with just 1 other girl, another member of our pack, im glad she isnt mixed with all those other groups. A smile came to my face. Then i saw my brother and that smile dropped. I walked over to him and noticed he was eye balling my mate. Blake was growling.

I whacked his head and he came back to his senses

“Ow what the ---” his eyes widened when he saw me

“Brother, you didnt tell me you were coming back” he got up and fixed his clothes, acting all high n mighty

“I don't need to tell you anything lucas, we need to talk” i said declaring to him that he follow me. Our parents our big influencers in this school and i fund alot of things here so i am allowed on these premises as much as i want, but usually only come here to see my brother. He followed me to the empty corridors

“Look i dont have time for this lucien” he rolled his eyes at me

“You may be next in line as alpha but i have alpha blood in my veins, know your place” i said firm and coldly and he had no choice but to submit.

“What is it you want?” he snarled at me

“Stop spending large, ill only request this once, dont make me cap your cards” i hissed at him

“Okay fine, im sorry sometimes i cant help myself” he rubbed his head. I understood, he was at an age where he had some sort of coolness to uphold amongst the people including humans.

“Its fine, no more Lucas” i warned him and walked off. I turned a corner when i heard my brother speak

“Ana wait” he called out

I looked at the trophy cabinet and could see my brother trying to talk to my mate. So thats her name. Ana. i smiled. But what the hell was he doing talking to her i was getting angry. Dirty little man w***e cant keep his d**k in his pants.

“Lucas what do you want?” she snarled at him and i smirked. Shes awesome.

“Uhh im sorry about the last time i saw you i ---” she cut him off

“When you rejected me??? You mean??” she was scowling him and it was great to see. Who is this girl….wait did she say he rejected her?? Fool

“Yeeah sorry about that” he rubbed the back of his head.

“Leave me alone Lucas and go back to Jasmine” she sneered at him.

She rolled her eyes and carried on walking back to her classroom. I must meet this girl again. Ill hang around for a bit today and see where this goes. I did some errands with our finances while i was here to kill some time till i heard the bell ring for lunch time. A flock of students hit the corridors in no time and my nose just followed her scent.

She was laughing with her friend as they walked towards the cafeteria. I just walked along nodding at teachers and students. I saw the gather their food and walk back to that same table. My brother was still eye balling my mate making me seeth in anger but i covered it well. I grabbed me a coffee and thought to join them introducing myself. I walked up to their table.

“Evening girls” i flashed a smile at them and Ana blushed.

“Oh hey Lucien, remember me? My moms sarah” her friend said to me and i instantly remember who this girl is, her moms the pack nurse.

“Hey, how are you?” her friend nodded with a thumbs up due to a mouth full of food.

“Hey, im Lucien” i put my hand out for to shake

“Im Anastasia” she said shyly, taking my hand to shake causing a zap of electricity to spark through us. So much she flinched before taking my hand again to shake. I smirked. She could feel it, even though her wolf was grieving. I knew she could cause she blushed again.

“Nice to meet you Anastasia” i bowed my head to her. All of a sudden her friend spilt her food all over her self

“Omg chelsea are you okay?” Ana looked worried

“Im fine im fine, ill just go get cleaned up dammit this was my favourite shirt” chelsea got up walking towards the toilers leaving me and Ana alone. I could see my brother seething in anger amongst his crew. He mindlink me

Why are you still here?!

I didnt bother to reply and shut off our link which made him more angry he got up and walked out of the cafteria slamming the door behind him causing silence for a moment. Until i broke the silence between me and Ana.

“So, what brings you and your family here Anastasia?” i wanted to know everything about her

“Just call me Ana, and i dont have family here, just me and my mom, my memaw use to live in the area” she smiled and looked back at her food. What is a memaw?? I wondered

“What a memaw?” damn you blake, he came forward out of the blue to ask her that, i need to keep a cap on him at all times before he makes a fool out of me.

She giggled. And it was music to my ears making me smile as well.

“Its what i use to call my grandma, i forget out in public sometimes” she felt a bit embarrassed but i thought it was cute.

“Thats…..different, but i like it” i said wiggling my eyebrows at her and she blushed again.

“So whose your memaw?” i asked taking a sip of my coffee

“Shiloh Crest, she use to live ---” i cut her off

“Wait, your memaw was Madam Crest?” i always spat my coffee out

“What is it with the madam? Even chelsea called her that when she visited my home” she looked so confused, she really didnt know who her grandmother was.

“You really dont know do you?” i tilted my head to her and she looked even more confused.

“Not at all, care to share?” she shrugged her shoulders, and i took this opportunity to spend more time with her plus educate her.

“After school? We can go get afternoon tea or something” i didnt even know what the hell iwas saying, who even says afternoon tea? I face palmed myself internally.

“Yeah, okay..umm ill just meet you out front?” she was blushing again, every word i said to her she would blush making me hard, thank goodness we were seated or she would of noticed for sure.

“Yeah sure” i said to her and the bell rang for last period.

She got up and grabbed her bag

“Nice meeting you Lucien, ill see you later” she flashed a beautiful smile at me

“Ill be waiting” i replied to her and winked at her. And she blushed again while waving her fingers at me with a silent bye coming from her lips that i wanted to kiss so badly. Just another hour till i see her again. Till then what the hell do i do. More errands for finance i suppose.
