Zack and Kip contemplated their drinks. “Well, you know best, Killian,” said Kip. “Of course, I’ll help you in any way I can.” That evening, they had dinner next door, at Kip’s parents’. Early the next morning Kip left for his office in Washington, D.C. Over the next month, Killian enjoyed his time working with the horses during the day and talking with Zack in the evenings.
