“Do you need my help with anything Mrs. Knight?” Maria asked me.
I turned around to look at her who is standing behind me at a little distance.
“Please call me Natalie, Maria. This is the hundredth time I am telling you this” I said with a fake scowl on my face causing her to chuckle lightly at my words.
“Oh! Sorry. I forget about it every time. I will pay attention next time, Mrs. Kni… I mean Natalie” she said and I smiled at her.
Today, I spent my whole day with Maria as she explained everything about this house and Cyrus to me. So that I can perform my duty of doing all of his chores without any trouble.
