Author’s POV
Cyrus was still sitting on the couch in his study room.
His head is resting against the headrest of the couch as his mind kept thinking about what his wife said before leaving.
‘Was she telling me the truth? Did she really do nothing wrong? Was Smith trying to take advantage of her when he saw them together last night? If yes then why didn’t she scream for help? Why didn’t she push him away?'
All of this unanswered questions are making his head ache. And he won’t get answers to any of his questions until he finds out what exactly happened last night.
He is still waiting for William to send the CCTV footages to him.
Originally he wasn’t planning on checking those footages. Because he believed what he saw was the truth and seeing those footages will do nothing but fuel
