The high-pitched scream filled my ears. It was so loud that I was sure that my eardrums were going to explode at the very next second but somehow they didn't.
I turned around and I saw Anna standing by the doorstep. I felt cold from the tip of my head down to my toes. This couldn't be happening. This had to be some kind of nightmare.
