I wanted to smack myself at least a 100 times for not considering the fact that all the phenomena may drain her out! And the moment her body went limp in my arms, I knew I messed up. Her wolf had also shut down, I couldn’t feel it! I knew I had to do something!
With my vampire speed, I rushed to the sacred pond where I stripped her out of her clothes, then entered the pond with her. I carefully let her body go and let the small waves of the pond carry her. Her tiny body floated above the water, just half of it covered. I swam towards her and stood a few inches from her body. The magic in the pond welcomed us, sparkling with the light from the Vrikolakas Redeemer.
