“Hermes; how many teachers do you think will be enough? I wouldn’t want to take all of them and leave you guys with nothing!” Hermes and I were seated in my father’s office going over a draft of teachers who were to be transferred to Kratos. My father had left early to attend an emergency council meeting; I wondered if things were going to work out and if the serpent will be found. But what had my thoughts pretty much occupied was how Zeus was going to handle the whole thing!
I woke up to an empty bed today in the morning and I couldn’t ignore the little sting of disappointment. He left even before I could see his pretty face. But then; he was still going to come again at night so there was really no reason to sulk all day long!
