ADELAIDE close her eyes tightly. She can taste the metal in her mouth. Tumulo ang dugo mula sa bibig niya.

She forced herself to make Duncan and Egon's senses dull awhile ago. That's why they didn't sense the smell of blood from her.

Adelaide can't afford to let them know how weak she is now.

Kanina, ginamit niya ang natitirang lakas para pumunta sa liblib na parte ng gubat, malayo sa bahay ni Duncan.

Awhile ago, when they encountered the half bloods, someone used an invisible weapons to harm her. Marami ito at may isang hindi niya nasalag. She must be targeted because she looked weak. And the two guys with her are preoccupied with the case that's why she purposely let their guard down.

Now that she forced her power, she really feel sore all over. Lalo pa siyang nanghina dahil sa natamong saksak sa likod. Hindi niya ito pwedeng tanggalin dahil lalong mauubusan siya ng dugo.

This thing won't kill her easily if she had her full power, but now that she doesn't have even the half of it...

Her eyes became blurry as another minute pass.

She know it's stubborn of her not to let them know, but her reasons are something cannot be disclose easily.

"Lady Adelaide Francesca L. Victoria."

She heard a faint voice. Ramdam niya ang pamilyar na haplos sa kaniyang pisngi.

"Seriously..."

She feel like she's floating. This man is probably carrying her.

Now that she can't open her eyes properly and she only have her faint senses, she don't know who is this person, but he's familiar. Someone she knows.

Naramdaman niya ang hininga nito sa tenga niya. Ngunit wala na siyang lakas para magpumiglas.

"Now that I know about this, don't expect me to let go."

CLAUDIUS felt like exploding any moment again. His fist is clenched and the veins on his forehead are showing. Above all this, because of his mix and extreme feelings, his flame of darkness went berserk.

Nasa labas sila ng bahay ni Duncan at naiwan ang batang si Devian sa loob.

This is one of the flaw of Nobles. Extreme feelings can summon their strongest power without their consent. When not fully controlled, there will be casualties.

"It's been a f*****g day!" It was Guillaume expressing his overwhelming anger.

"Could you calm the f**k down?" Duncan spoke this time. Kanina pa ito tahimik, ngunit ngayon halatang galit na rin.

"She promised she'll come back. I trust her." Egon said, but his expression are showing. Nag-aalala, natatakot at hindi alam ang gagawin.

Claudius can't help but to punch one one the trees in anger. Sa pwersang ginawa niya maraming puno ang nahati at nadamay.

What if what happened hundred of years ago happen again? What if she disappeared again without them knowing her whereabouts?

Fuck. The burning anger, worry, and fear made his heart hurt.

"What if she was taken away from us again?!"

Si Guillaume ang pinakawalang kontrol sa kanilang lahat. The part of the forest on his part melt down because of his heat. Even Claudius can feel how the temperature rise.

"It happened when the half bloods passed before us. I'm going to hunt them and kill them."

When he heard what Duncan said, he immediately went on his side to go along with his plan. Kung totoo nga ang sinabi nitong may kinalaman ang mga half bloods sa biglang pagpapaalam sa kanila ng kaniyang pinaglilingkuran, hindi niya mapapatawad ang mga ito. He'll kill mercilessly.

"Duncan you told us to calm down! Cool your f*****g head! Let's wait some more, the Master I know is true to her word!"

Natauhan lamang sila nang sabihin iyon ni Egon. Even if it's clear that the guy felt the same way as them, he's surprisingly doing his best to control his emotions.

Umupo siya sa sahig at hinayaang kumalma ang sarili.

Right. If she promised, he's sure that Lady Adelaide won't back down from her word. They knew her, she won't go away again.

She won't. She musn't, because it will lead them to great suffering. They can't survive in this world again if they have to wait that... long.

He calm down a bit, so the flame of darkness in his arms slowly became flame of light. This is his power. When the darkness takes over, whoever his opponent is, they will die a tragic death.

Nakita niyang unti unti na rin huminahon ang ibang kasama, kapwa nakaupo na tulad niya.

They waited there for the next four hours, looking at the same direction.

He bit his lower lip.

No. Why is he losing hope this early?

Natulala siya nang maramdaman na naman niya ang sensasyon sa katawan, tandang lumalakas ang apoy na bumabalot sa kaniya.

Nabalik siya sa realidad nang biglang bumukas ang pinto mula sa bahay ni Duncan. Mula sa kinauupuan niya, nakita niya si Devian na nakatayo at nakatingin sa kanina, hinahagod din ng tingin ang paligid.

"Did you fight again? I'll tell this to Lady 'Aide."

Nag-iwas siya ng tingin sa inosenteng mata ng bata.

"Why aren't you answering me? I'm already starving, I want to eat."

Sa gilid ng mata niya, tumayo si Guillaume at lumapit sa bata.

"Okay, magluluto si Aume. Pasok tayo sa loob."

Pumasok ang dalawa sa bahay ni Duncan. While the owner of the house looks so defeated looking at trees he targeted hours ago. Sa harap nito, nakalubog at sira sira na ang mga puno, higit pa roon, makikita na nabago ang hugis ng lupa sa malaking parte dahil nakalubog rin ito.

On Egon's part, there's no large casualties, just roses and its thorns on his feet. Of all of them, Egon's surprisingly the calmest.

When the night came. The two decided to go inside the house, while he goes to the tree that has a swing.

Umupo siya roon. Wondering what's so good there that his lady likes it so much. Maybe he won't see the beauty anymore because the scenery is destroyed. Tanging ang ulap na lang na tumatakip sa buwan ang nakikita niya. Hindi masyadong maliwanag dahil natatabunan.

Halos isang oras siyang nagmanman sa lugar. Hindi pa ganoon kalalim ang gabi kaya may mga tao pang nasa labas. They looked at him with shock but he doesn't care.

Lalo niyang binilisan ang paglipad, but making sure his eyes fully see every corner of the places he's passing through.

"You're here."

Nilingon niya si Guillaume na nasa tabi niya na ngayon, parehas silang lumilipad sa iisang bilis.

"Pinapahanap ka nila sa akin. You didn't use the pill Duncan made so you're easily located."

Hindi siya sumagot, instead he focus himself on finding those half bloods.

"Take it."

Binato sa kaniya ni Guillaume ang bilog na kulay gintong pill, agad niya itong sinubo. It takes like nothing at all.

"I won't come back for this night."

"I'll go with you, alam kong hinahanap mo sila."

ON THE OTHER HAND, DEVIAN can't sleep that night. Simula nang magtabi silang matulog ni Lady 'Aide ay nasanay na siyang pumasok sa kwarto nito sa gabi at tumabi rito.

He knew she didn't came home yesterday and until this day. Devian can't help but to sulk on the couch, hugging his legs and his chin is on his knees.

When will Lady 'Aide go home? He wanted to sleep a good night. Devian wanted to sleep with her warmth again.

"Young lad, it's already late."

His gazes went to 'Uncan, his ocean blue eyes are seriously looking at him. His lips slowly form a pout, they are serious but he is serious too, he want to wait for Lady 'Aide as well.

"It's unhealthy to sleep late."

He take his eyes away from 'Uncan.

"But you all didn't even sleep last night until now."

The man went in front of him, 'Uncan crouch so they will be on the same eye level. He touch his little hand on the side of his leg because he's hugging it. He notice that 'Uncan's touch is light.

"We're grown ups. Let's go, you should sleep."

His eye brows almost touch as he heard his reason.

"What's so different between us? I don't want to sleep without Lady 'Aide on my side."

The man in front of him heave a deep sigh.

"Then I'm going to sleep in the place of Lady Adelaide, is that okay?"

Slowly loosening his hug on his leg, 'Uncan take the opportunity to carry him to bed. Pumasok ito sa kwarto at hiniga siya sa kama.

His eyes moisten a bit. He miss Lady 'Aide already, when will she come back?

'Uncan went on his side, and when he saw him closing his eyes, he can't help but to sulk again. He's just sleeping!

He use his little pointy finger to poke his cheeks. 'Uncan immediately open his eyes. Bumungad ang kimikinang na ocean blue eyes nito na bumagay sa buhok.

"Why aren't you sleeping?" Tanong nito sa kaniya.

"Lady 'Aide hug me in my sleep, she always caress my hair and it's so comfortable. Do it."

He grin when 'Uncan had no choice but to comply on everything he's demanding.

Niyakap siya nito at hinaplos ang buhok.

"You little monster."

He punch his chest using his little fist.

"Am not."

"Yeah. Yeah."

"I have a question, 'Uncan."

"What is it?"

"When will Lady 'Aide come back? I miss her already."

Silence ate the atmosphere. 'Uncan began to think deeply and he can't read what's going on his mind. He's kind of curious, is the situation that alarming? He saw them causing ruckus hours ago, they are all full of worry and anger, he even saw them destroying a part of the poor forest when he take a peak on the window.

"She'll come back, that's all I know."

He just nodded. Ngayon naglalaro sa isip niya ang mga nakita at ang biglang pag-alis ni Lady 'Aide.

"Don't think too much, sleep now. You're head is so heavy."

"I still can't sleep."

"Did you drink milk?"

"Yes, before brushing my teeth."

"Then sleep."

"I said I can't."

"It's because you keep talking, shut up now, young lad."

"But you're always answering me."

Napabuntong hininga ito at napaupo, binuhat siya nito palabas ng kwarto. Kalong kalong siya nito hanggang palabas ng bahay.

'Uncan sat on the swing outside the house.

"Why are we here?" He asked.

"The breeze here will make you sleepy."

Tumango tango siya at sumandal na lang sa kumakalong sa kaniya. Marahan lang ang galaw ng swing, tama lamang ang malamig ng hangin. When he look up, there were a few stars, most of them are behind the clouds, even the crescent moon is hiding.

"I think it will rain, 'Uncan, there's a lot of clouds."

Tumingala ito at tumingin sa alapaap. Tumango ito ng bahagya at yumuko. He noticed how the expression of the man he's with changed.

"What's wrong, 'Uncan?"

"It was like this too. I hope it will not rain."

"Why?"

"It reminds me of the start of my loneliness."

"But we're all together now, you won't be lonely anymore."

He was shock when the side of 'Uncan's lips move up.

"Right."

"You can smile, 'Uncan."

He raise his eyebrow, "Who said I can't?"

"Because you are always like this." He copy the expressionless face of 'Uncan.

Lalo siyang nagulat dahil mahina itong natawa sa kaniya. He wish the others are here to witness this! Come to think of it, all of them are letting their guards down when they are with him or Lady 'Aide, they always do things that are far from their usual self.

Humikab siya.

"Finally sleepy?"

Tumango tango lamang siya. Maya maya ay hinila na siya ng mga kamay ni Hypnos.
