EGON tried to console na crying Devian. The young lad is looking for Lady Adelaide from yesterday until this moment.

"Give me Lady 'Aide, huk..."

All of them are stressed out because he won't stop crying. Even Claudius and Guillaume can't do something.

"Little monster, you need to stop crying, Lady Adelaide won't come back if you continue your tantrums."

It's the first time that Duncan tried to do something about the child. He just let them does everything, while this fucktard is just enjoying their suffering.

"Lady 'Aide didn't say goodbye when she leave, huk... She said we need to say goodbye so that those we treasure won't be worried."

Lumapit siya sa kinauupuan ni Duncan at inabot dito ang bata. The pokerface king did not even bat an eye on him. Duncan carry the crying dude on his lap.

Because of Devian they weren't able to investigate more about the half bloods. The kid just won't stop crying and throwing tantrums. The whole house is filled with worry and noises from the kid.

"'Uncan, bring back Lady 'Aide..."

"How are we going to do that? We did nothing but to look after you, you spoiled cub."

Humaba ang nguso ng bata at puno pa rin ng luha ang mata.

"But I want to find Lady 'Aide..."

Nanlaki ang mata niya pati ni Guillaume at Claudius na nanonood sa dalawa nang pitikin ni Duncan ang noo ng bata. Agad namula ang noo nito na agad ikinatayo ni Guillaume.

"What the freaking cheese, Emmanuel?" Sambit ni Guillaume matapos kunin ang bata mula kay Duncan, hindi ito makapagmura ng maayos dahil kasama nila ang bata.

"What? Give me the kid, I'm going to knock some senses on him."

Inilayo ni Guillaume si Devian.

"No! You squashhole!"

"That young lad won't understand if you continue to babysit him, he's intelligent enough to understand, he's just throwing tantrums and you're pampering him."

Nag-iwas nang tingin si Guillaume at tumitig saglit sa bata.

For Egon, Duncan has a point, but he don't know why they can't afford to see this human child hurt and crying.

Sa huli inabot ni Guillaume si Devian kay Duncan.

Nag-usap muli nang masinsinan ang dalawa. It's rare to see Duncan carefree around someone.

"Young lad, do you get me? You won't find Lady Adelaide if you continue crying, do you think it will help?"

Devian sob a little, but he managed to dry his tears before answering Duncan.

"No. T-Then how can I help?"

"You'll help us if you listen to Guillaume. Go to him."

Bumaba ito sa pagkakakalong kay Duncan at tumakbo patungo kay Guillaume. Nagkatinginan sila ni Claudius at sabay tiningnan ng masama si Duncan. He use his speed to grab him outside his own house.

Nang makalabas, sumunod si Claudius na parehas ang takbo ng utak sa kaniya.

"Dude, we wasted almost a day and you didn't tell us that you can do something about the child!"

Nagkibit balikat ito at tinalikuran silang dalawa. What the f**k, Duncan Emmanuel.

"Didn't know you can't do such simple task."

Napailing siya sa kayabangan ng kasama. Pero mas nag-aalab ang kagustuhan sa puso niyang hanapin ang mga half bloods. He wanted to know if they knew something or if they are related to his Master's sudden leaving.

Naghiwahiwalay silang tatlo ng pupuntahang direksyon. He goes to the northern part of the town where there are more people. He think they are most likely to hide in the crowd. But surely, he'll feel their presence. Thankfully, before parting ways, Duncan gave him and Claudius the Presence Sealing Pill.

Naglakad lakad siya at pinakiramdaman ang paligid, sa parteng ito, dikit dikit ang mga bahay at maraming taong nasa labas. Most of them are eyeing him, especially women. But even though he is a real flirt sometimes, he doesn't have appetite for them at this moment, he l's eager to find the half bloods, hoping they'll provide clues.

It's been freaking to and a half days, he trust her words but he need to do something about his worries.

"H-Hi, Kuya, uh, may hinahanap ka ba?" Lumapit sa kaniya ang isang babae, from her looks, she's a teenager.

"Be, ang landi, ba't tuminis 'yang boses palaka mong boses?"

"Ano ba, bes, shut off ka na lang!"

Nilagpasan niya ang dalawa at nagpatuloy sa paglalakad.

"Gaga ka, ang baho kasi ng bunganga mo, umalis tuloy si Kuyang pogi."

"Ikaw rin e, ba't ka pa nagsalita, nag-english ka pa, mali naman grammar mo."

His reflexes became faster when he felt a strange presence fifty meters away from him. Agad siyang tumakbo, two times faster than normal to catch the half blood.

Pagdating niya, nagkukumpulan ang mga tao. Nakisingit siya at doon niya pa lamang nakita kung anong mayroon. Isang half blood ang nakahandusay at patay. He's in the road, he looked like he's been tortured.

What the f**k. They the other half bloods killed their companion?

Nilapitan niya ang isang matandang lalaki na nakikiusosyo.

"Sir, pwede ko bang malaman kung ilang oras na nandito ang bangkay?"

Tumango siya at nagpasalamat. Nilapitan niya ang bangkay at tiningnan maputi ang mga natamo nitong sugat. His body looked light it's been toast, some part of his body had a deep cut. The half bloods eyes are burst open. And arms aren't attached to his body anymore.

He is killed by his companion, or perhaps there's someone stronger in this town killing half bloods and humans.

Umalis siya at naglibot pa sa ibang bahagi ng lugar, the townspeople told him that aside from that one there's someone found killed too by the tanods.

Kinahapunan, nagkita kita sila nila Claudius sa labas ng gubat. Both of them looked defeated.

"Haven't found any?" Simula niya.

"I found two dead half bloods." Said Duncan.

Tumango naman si Claudius, "Same here. I found two of them killed in a brutal way."

"Mine's one. So all of the five half bloods we encountered are dead."

Naging seryoso ang paligid. He can almost hear crickets because of silence.

"Dang. I'm getting impatient, f**k. How long are we going to wait? Let's freaking go all out and find her."

He sighed heavily. The right hand Noble of his Master is now pissed. Ni hindi na nito pinagtuunan ang posibilidad na may ibang mas malakas na personalidad sa lugar na 'to na maaaring manghamak sa iba.

"Dude, calm to f**k down. If we go all out we'll ruin the balance. The current generation of Nobles will know our existing including the humans and half bloods."

Good thing, Duncan is more rational. He is surprisingly using his empty head. Well, he's the genuis among Nobles but for him, he's all fool but intelligent sometimes.

"And is it more important than finding my lady?"

Natahimik si Duncan at napaisip.

"You got a point. Let's use our full strength."

The f**k. He is taking back his word, Duncan is not using his head! What the f**k is wrong with this pokerface dude's brain!

"You two are idiots, Master clearly said that she will come back, and what do you think will happen if we show the world our strength and Master came back seeing all the ruckus we did?"

Natahimik silang tatlo matapos niyang magsalita. They are back in the circle again. If it's a normal half blood or if it's some Noble, they can surely track them. But his Master is a rare case, she doesn't have a presence they can locate that fast. Lady Adelaide is like an invisible person.

"What are we going to do now?"

Duncan kick the stone near his feet. Tumama ito sa isang malaking bato at sumabog.

"Let's go back first." Claudius suggested.

At the end of the day, they have no choice but to let another day passed. They have no clue where did she go. He have no choice but to embrace the last words of her Master, her promise to come back.

When the morning came, he cooked food for everyone, Devian wake up a few minutes after him.

"Morning, Egon."

"Little kid, did you sleep well."

Humikab ito at umiling, "I want Lady 'Aide sleep with me again."

Tumulong na lamang ito sa kaniya sa pamamagitan ng paglalagay ng mga platong inaabot niya sa bata.

Matagal bago nagising ang iba sa bahay ni Duncan kaya nauna na silang kumaing dalawa ni Devian. He goes outside with the kid because he wanted to ride the swing outside.

It was a cloudy morning, so the wind is a little bit harsher than normal.

"Egon, why is she not coming back yet?"

That is also his question. He's really worried, and sad because he can't do something.

"I miss Lady 'Aide already."

Ginulo niya ang buhok ng bata, nakaupo ito sa duyan, siya naman ay ginagalaw ito at pinagmamasdan lamang ang bata na itaas ang paa sa ere.

"I miss her too, kid."

"Does she miss me too, Egon?"

He smirked to tease the boy a little.

"No. She doesn't miss a crybaby."

The young lad's eyes moisten so he quickly regret what he said.

"Am not going to cry anymore..."

Natawa siya nang napansin niyang ginagawa lahat ng bata para pigilan ang sarili na umiyak.

Ginulo niyang muli ang buhok nito. He looked real freaking adorable, dude.

"Good. You hurt my ears from crying so much yesterday."

Nang maramdaman niyang may malamig na tumama sa mukha niya, agad niya itong pinunasan at tumingala. Real s**t, it's raining.

Agad niyang kinarga ang bata at mabilis na pumasok sa loob. It's early in the morning and it's already raining.

Pagkarating niya sa dining area ng bahay ni Duncan, kita niyang kumakain na ang mga ito. Tulala pa si Guillaume at mukhang inaantok pa ang may-ari ng bahay.

These days they didn't have a good sleep. Even Devian, who sleeps alternately in their rooms. Yesterday night, he was with Claudius.

"Bloody hell. I hate seeing your face in the morning, Guillaume."

The guy gave him his middle finger, and his both middle finger salute back at Guillaume. Such a nice way to start their another depressing morning.

His senses alerted when he heard someone coming to the direction of the house in a fast way. He look directly at the eye of the kid when his eyes were suddenly filled with excitement.

"It's Lady 'Aide, I knew it! She's here! She's coming!"

His eyes widened. How did this kid know? He just used one of his senses to know there is someone coming, he doesn't know who specifically it is, but Devian looks certain it's his Master. Lady Adelaide's presence is unnoticeable!

"Young lad, come here." Duncan told Devian.

Lumapit naman dito ang bata.

"How did you know it's her?"

"Uh... because it's Lady 'Aide!"

Nagkatinginan sila at napabuntong hininga, they really expect a precise explanation from a kid?

Tumakbo palabas si Devian at agad nila itong sinundan. Their eyes all widened when they saw their most treasured Noble walking towards them. Agad silang lumapit dito at sinalubong ito ng yakap.

Now, he felt like crying. f**k. He didn't know he's unconsciously denying these emotions for how many days. Ngayon, para siyang sasabog. He wanted to cry so much. Damn it.

"Lady 'Aide!"

Halos madaganan ng malalaki nilang katawan si Devian na nakayakap sa bewang ni Lady Adelaide. Nakakumpol sila sa isa't isa, walang gustong bumitaw.

Kumawala ang babae sa kanila at unang nilapitan ang batang umiiyak.

"Lady 'Aide, I miss you so much... huk... why did you leave without saying goodbye to me..."

Hinaplos nito ang buhok ng bata. He can see the softness in his Master's eyes as she look at the kid.

"I'm sorry, will you forgive Lady 'Aide? Hmm?"

The kid pouted but he spread his arms to give her a hug. Matagal bago tumahan ang bata at kumawala sa pagyakap sa kaniyang Master.

Sunod nitong nilapitan si Claudius na nag-iiwas ng tingin at tinatago ang mga mata, dahil tulad niya naluluha rin ito.

"I'm sorry for giving you this trauma, Claudius, I'm sorry for hurting you all again."

Sinugod ng yakap ni Claudius ang kaniyang Master. Egon and the others just stare at them as they whisper to each other. Sunod si Guillaume na tuloy tuloy ang agos ng luha, nakayuko at nakasarado ang dalawang kamay. Sumunod na nilapitan nito ay siya, when their eyes met the emotions he is trying hard to hold burst out all of the sudden.

"I'm sorry, Egon. And thank you for trusting my promise."

He sob louder.

"Lady... please don't us again, we won't survive, we don't want to experience the same pain and regret..."

Hinaplos nito ang buhok niya na lalong nagpalabas ng matinding emosyon mula sa kaniya.

"I'm not going to be taken away and sealed again, don't worry, Egon. If I do this again, it will be for everyone, and to do my job. I will always come back whenever I leave from now on."

Right. Who says they will let those traitors have their way again? Hindi na siya papayag na mangyari ang dati, dahil kung ganoon, he'd rather have his eternal death.

Sunod na niyakap ng kaniyang Master si Duncan. The fool tried his very best not to cry in their presence but a mere touch from his Master made him sob like a kid. Tulad nilang lahat, kahinaan pa rin nila ang babaeng ito.

At the end, Lady Adelaide speak seriously to them.

"Everyone, I'm sorry for leaving with a vague reason. But leaving for a few days is inevitable, I would need to do something in the future that only require myself, but I promise you that this time, this time I will always come back, this time you know where I am going, and this time, I will value this life more because of the Nobles I treasure."
