I WAS FALLING. I had no idea how but the sensation was there. How had I gotten here?
Oh I remember. I had run away. Away from the truth. Away from reality. Away from Austin. He was able to figure me out so easily. And so I ran. And then I tripped down the stairs.
It was going to hurt, I knew that and so I closed my eyes. But when the hurt didn't come, I opened them. Austin's hand was wrapped around my waist, the other holding tightly unto the stair's railings. He looked panicked and completely out of breath, his eyes puzzled.
'Are you trying to kill yourself, you i***t!' he panted out. He pulled me up and we both stationed ourselves by the stairway. 'I ask you one simple question and you run on me. The hell?!'
