IN THE MIDST of the distraction, tension filled the air. Bulky had somehow managed to catch Austin off guard and had knocked him off. Before I could react, I felt a hand draw me back, away from Austin. I watched in horror as Bulky's men dealt with the rest of them. Lay took a kick to the face and Ethan, a blow to the gut. Needless to say, they were all down within seconds. Bulky and his men chuckled wickedly amongst themselves. The arm around me pulled me closer so that I was resting against a hard chest. He still smelled the same. Like alcohol and rot. The smell made me want to go puke. With the mix of hysteria and nervousness gushing up about me, I couldn't help but fall into place, helpless and frozen. I didn't struggle nor did I cry - just stared aimlessly, at anyone's mercy.
