Abby climbed inside the cab of Trent’s truck and waited for him to settle behind the wheel. She hadn’t cried in almost twenty-four hours, and it was all thanks to him. He put the truck in gear and reached for her hand. The look in his eyes made the muscles in her belly clench in the most pleasurable way. She released a contented sigh as he laced their fingers together and pulled out onto the road. In some ways, Cincinnati had changed since she’d been gone. It others, it hadn’t.
