Abby stood at the railing of the paddleboat, looking out at the Ohio River. The wind whipped her hair around her face as they made their way along the water, but she didn’t care. Today she was officially becoming a member of the Daniels family. It was hard to believe that less than a year ago she’d been living in New York. The life she’d had there seemed a world away.
