Claire I pushed down my nerves as I started the engine, blocking out the tester sitting in my passenger seat with a clipboard in one hand and a pen in the other. Slowly, I backed out of the parking space, carefully watching my surroundings to make sure I didn't have an accident or hit anybody. I straightened up my car and shifted the gear into drive before crawling forward at a snail's pace, out of the parking lot and onto the empty street. "We're turning right at the traffic lights." The tester tells me, she told me her name but it went in one ear and got eaten up by my anxiety so now I have no clue what is is and I'm hoping we don't get into a serious accident that leaves her knocked out or worse and the police come and I have no idea what her name is.
