(Hunter’s POV)
My dad linked for a pack doctor while I tried to wake Cassie.
“Leave her alone Hunter'' my dad snapped at me “you’ve caused enough damage” and I growled at him. He immediately squared up to me “You want to take a go son, I may be 30 years your elder but I am still your Alpha and I will put you on your a*s” That was enough to shock me, my dad was really angry at me. Sh*t, I looked at Cassie who had gone deathly pale and was starting to burn up.
“Dad” I pleaded “what’s happening”
“What’s happening?” he shouted “what do you think is happening? Why would you try to mark her when you know the conditions?”
“I thought that maybe it was a lie” I said in a small voice
