The main hall was already packed with werewolves and witches all chatting amongst themselves. Between the pack and the coven there were 230 people here and while the majority of them were werewolves the witches still had a sizable contribution.
A witches coven runs much like a pack in that there is a hierarchy. Just like the pack has the Alpha, Beta and other ranks the witches have the central council. The central council is the twelve most powerful witches and the most powerful as the leader and Priestess. My mother was the priestess before me. It is an inherited position but that's no guarantee and even as my mothers daughter I had to prove myself before I was given the title.
