I woke up in my bed, wrapped in Hunter’s arms. It had been after midnight when we had gotten back to Black Stone and even though it was late it was still way too quiet. We had gotten back before the other warriors and I was refusing to go to bed until they were back safe and I could thank them for risking their lives for me.
I was upset to hear that we had lost six of our own warriors in the attack and made it my business to ensure that their families were well looked after. Hunter had a proud look on his face when he said that was what a true Luna did.
