(Drew’s POV)
I stood outside her door, after I had slipped the note under it, and watched as her shadow had blocked the light by the door. She will have seen the note by now. Part of me wanted her to come rushing out of her room declaring that she would be mine. But I knew that wasn’t going to happen. I saw shadow movement again and then the light in her room turned off. I felt deflated, but turned and made my way back to my room.
I was serious though, every word in that note was the honest truth and more. I don’t care how long it took, I would earn my place in her life, and her heart.
