(Hunter’s POV)
“Come on Luce, just pass her the phone” we were back in the kitchen and Sienna was pulling out different ancient looking books and frantically searching through them. Drew seemed lost in thought so I took the time to try and get through to Cassie again. Her phone was still not connecting so I phoned my sister.
“I told you Hunter” Lucy said “She won’t come to the phone” and then she whispered “She is adamant that you are going to reject her, I don’t know what to do”
“I’m not going to reject her, I never would” I couldn’t even imagine life without Cassie, “Please tell her I love her” and we ended the call.
I was eager to get home to her, but this revelation needed more investigation.
