MORAL

200 Words
This story is a reflection of the greatest love story ever told—the love of God for us. The father in the story represents our Heavenly Father, the Creator, who lovingly made us with care and purpose. The son represents Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who delights in us and came to earth to rescue us. The toy boat symbolizes us—God’s children—fearfully and wonderfully made. But like the boat, we drifted away through disobedience and sin. The stream is the world, and when we were swept away by sin, Satan, like the cruel shopkeeper, tried to claim us and trap us. Yet Jesus did not abandon us. Just as the son went down to the village, Jesus came down from heaven to earth to seek and save what was lost. He did not complain. He humbled Himself and paid the full price—not with silver or gold, but with His own life, to bring us back. Though we were unfaithful, God remained faithful. His love is relentless, patient, and full of mercy. No matter how far we fall, He comes after us, restores us, and brings us home.
