Aunt Morin:
(sighs and mutters as she walks away)
“These children don’t know what responsibility is…”
Sarah: (to herself, quietly)
“She always thinks I’m not doing enough...”
(Sarah drops the broom, quickly wipes her hands on her dress, and rushes to her cousin’s room. She knocks gently, then opens the door.)
Sarah:
“Hey, Junior… time to get up. You don’t want to be late again.”
Junior: (groans from under the blanket)
“I don’t feel like going…”
Sarah:
“I know… but you promised Uncle Richie you’d start trying. Please. For mom and dad.”
(Junior slowly gets up, his face still sleepy. Sarah helps him find his socks and shirt.)
Cut To: Savannah Base Camp – Morning
(Adam is seen standing in line with other soldiers. He is now dressed in combat gear, his face hardened and focused. Ramplaymaster, a tough and battle-worn commander, walks past inspecting the ranks.)
Ramplaymaster:
“Creed!”
Adam: (salutes)
“Yes, sir!”
Ramplaymaster:
“We’ve got intel that a major d**g ring is operating in Zone 5—likely the same network that pumped poison into our streets. You know what to do.”
Adam: (voice low, nearly a whisper)
“Yes sir. I’ll make sure they never ruin another life.”
(He grips his rifle tightly, jaw clenched.)
