Why do writers always beg for reviews? Are we such an insecure bunch that we want to be told over and over how great our books are?
Well, yes. Definitely. I love reading how much readers liked my book. And if they didn’t, at least I know what to improve next time. Constructive feedback is so valuable and allows me to get better with each book.
There is another reason, however. Every day, literally thousands of books are uploaded online. Reviews are the key to them being discovered by fans and potential new readers. And that’s the main reason why authors ask for reviews.
So could I please add myself to the list? I would be so appreciative if you enjoyed what I dreamed up, and leave a quick review on the site you downloaded the book from.
